Our interactive map is constantly growing with new fishermen, fishmongers and merchants from across the country. Each week we will feature some of the new entries to the site, telling the story of the methods they use to catch, prepare and sell their seafood and the range of species available across the UK.

Samways, Lyme Bay, Dorset, England
Samways has always been a family run business. Established in January 1961, Mr. Clifford Samways sold his catch from a wooden barrow in West Bay, Dorset. It was from these humble beginnings that Samways grew a reputation for selling top quality Seafood from Lyme Bay. Proud of their long-standing relationship, with over 150 inshore vessels landing to them on a daily basis, it is their belief that these relationships are the key to producing the highest-quality Seafood and remaining proactive in their approach to sustainable sourcing.
As well as selling their products in supermarkets and farm shops across the UK, you can also buy direct from their store in West Bay, Bridport which is full of the great array of seafood the South Coast has to offer.

Selective Seafoods, Tundweiliog, Snowdonia, Wales
Starting out catching and selling crab and lobster from the nearby fishery to the local area, husband and wife team Mary and Gareth were soon too busy selling their products to find the time to get out to sea. They now work with the local fleet of crab fishermen, preparing and dressing up to 10,000 crabs a year. When they started selling from outside their home, they had traffic jams down the lane! Their crabs and lobsters are now available to buy online with a next-day delivery service.

C Fayre, Largs, Scotland
Run by Scotland’s first certified Master Fishmonger, John Watson, C Fayre is a family owned, traditional fishmongers in the seaside town of Largs, on the West Coast of Scotland. An area famous for its superb range of fresh and smoked fish and shellfish, the fishmongers at C Fayre start each day with a trip to the local fish market where they insist on line caught or hand-dived seafood wherever possible. From there they hand-fillet all of their produce to order.
This hand-prepared produce can  be purchased direct from their Largs store or ordered online, delivering four days a week across the UK.

Sea Source, Kilkeel, Northern Ireland
Owned and managed by the Sea Source, co-operative, this shop catches, lands and sells fresh seafood direct to its customers. This not only means that you can buy seafood with complete traceability, but that you can give as much as possible back to the fishermen who catch the range of seafood the Irish Sea has to offer.
Sea Source have traditionally sold to hotels and restaurants, as well as to the public, but since the outbreak of COVID-19 their Kilkeel store has become a hub, where home deliveries are dispatched throughout Northern Ireland. To order home delivery, call 02841763444 / 07710090260, if you place your order before midday they will do their very best to deliver that afternoon or evening.
